We last saw Janis almost two years ago, and she says that her style has changed somewhat. “I think it’s more relaxed now, slightly more basic — maybe because I’m getting older!” Perhaps that’s why she says she has no problems dressing up for work as most of the items in her wardrobe are “pretty versatile”. Janis was due to leave for a two-week holiday to Europe on the day that we met her, so maybe that also accounts for her laid-back outfit today. She’s thankful that she doesn’t have a lot to clear before she goes on her well-deserved break, although she says that one of her favourite parts of her job is the intensity it involves. “I like the stress levels — it pushes me to work harder.” Her outlet is going to the gym, sometimes during her lunch breaks if possible. “I enjoy doing some sports and soaking up the sun on weekends as I'm cooped up in the office for most of the week,” she says. “Otherwise, I just relax and chill!” The last time we met her, Janis said she was reading a book called The Happiness Project, and this time round, she says she just finished reading Gillian Flynn's Sharp Objects.
