Southern Bastards #3: This book is good and disturbing. Jason Aaron is working on a masterpiece.
Superman Unchained #7: After a 3-month delay, this soon-to-be-over series limps towards the finish line.

East of West #13: The Son of Death is free and on the move. I’m sure it’s totally fine and no one’s plans will be thwarted at all!
Moon Knight #5: This bizarre crime procedural continues with a rescue mission into a mob-infested abandoned hotel. I do love an unlikely, unhinged hero. I don’t love that we’ll soon be losing Warren Ellis as writer of this book. Brian Wood’s no slouch, but I like it just the way it is and I hope he keeps up the momentum.
Twilight Zone #6: I’ve been pleasantly surprised by this book. I was wary because of my love of the classic show, but I think they’ve captured the spirit of it, and even Serling’s voice, quite nicely.
Woods #3: It’s not looking good for our ragtag band of nerds as they try to figure out where they are and why. Meanwhile, the situation at the school-turned-base-camp devolves.

Southern Bastards #3: Redneck organized crime is the best organized crime. It’s time for Earl Tubb to fight back for a town he claims to have no feelings for.
