I had to share this because it's pretty hilarious, plus it makes some fairly big claims that, if they are true, might actually change the world — or at least the pet product design world. It's a pet bed in the form of a funky shark, made with reflective material that will "shoot laser beams" if you take a photo with a flash.
But that's not the unbelievable part. It's made from some Japanese nanotechnology that is apparently "self cleaning". According to the ThinkGeek website:
"The particles in the fabric will absorb bacteria and pet odors and all you need to do to refresh the bed is unzip it every so often and let it sit in the sunshine. In case of bigger messes, the bed is surface washable and the inner cushion can be thrown in the washing machine."
That just sounds too good to be true! Plus, they assure us that the technology is people and pet safe — totally non-toxic! The bed is fully collapsible but rigid when assembled. It comes in two sizes, small for $69.99 and large for $89.99. Available from ThinkGeek.com.
