Thats Just Fabulous: "Summer Series" | My Holiday Toiletries.
Jun 6th 2012, 22:27

I love summer and although in the UK we aren't blessed with the best weather within the summer months I go further a field at least once a year to soak up the sun and hopefully get a lush tan. So I thought I would start a sort of "Summer Series" where I could show you lovely followers different aspects of my summer. I am starting with different posts on my holiday, which I go on next Tuesday for 10 days of relaxation EEP! When I go on holiday I tend to be the girl that overpacks and have to be dragging my case into the airport with all my strength.. Why can't I be someone that packs light? Toiletries are a area of my packing that is full of different stuff I don't think I really need but hey ho.

Ok so here is the majority of what will be in the contents of my toilety bag. I foolishly forgot to put in my moisturiser and eye cream which are the Origins Night-a-Mins and vitazing eye cream.

Starting at the front.

John Freida Sheer Blonde shampoo - haven't used this before but since I have went back blonde I thought I would give it a whirl in a smaller form.

Nail polish remover.

St. Ives Face scrub - I've heard a lot about the St. Ives on blogs and have never used it so instead of lugging my massive face scrub this is a nice alternative.

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish - I don't feel I need to take my big bottle of this so I thought this would be a good time to take my mini that I got at Christmas (anything to get my kg's down in my case).

Origins Frothy face wash - Thought I would use this up as I got it free in my order. Heard both good and bad things about this... We'll see.

Coco Butter - I don't like using after sun all the time so I will sometimes indulge my skin in this little gem.

Crest White Toothpaste - I have been trail running this to get the perfect white teeth. I have only used it a week so far and it says to find a difference in 2 weeks so I shall report back on this when I come back off my holiday, hopefully with pearly whites!

Conditioner - First bottle I have filled is with my John Freida conditioner. Its a nice hair mask so my hair will get moisture that it needs after being in the sun, sea, pool etc. It's lovely and makes my hair so soft.

Body Scrub - I have three at the front that are all sea salt ones, they are lovely. I got two from a glossy box and one is out of a Sanctuary set. I have decanted into the other bottle a Soap and Glory scrub that came in the big pink case at Christmas time.

John Freida Colour Renew - This shampoo is to tame the awful brassy tones that the sun will ever so willingly grace upon my hair. I have used it a few times already and it has made my hair look a ashy blonde colour.

Avene Thermal Spray - A lovely spray that cools my down on a day and when I get out the shower on holiday. I also get prickly heat sometimes and that seems to ease the itchyness of it and calm it down. A winner in my eyes for summer so everyone who gets prickly heat or just gets too hot in summer go out and get a spray of this, it's a great toner too, so it claims.

I hope you all havent fallen into a bored hase and I would love any recomendations about what toiletries you think may be missing? Look out for my next summer post which will be what makeup I take away with me.

xoxo
