Norm Thompson, 6/5 — Fresh Steals & Deals Every Week!
In a little less than a month, a legitimate trickle of emails mentioning Christmas will hit consumers' inboxes. Some will be promoting generic "Christmas in July" sales, but many others will be touting actual Christmas items. While I like to look at this as the start of the holiday season, there are actually a smattering of holiday references throughout the first half of the year. For instance, Hallmark promoted a Christmas card contest in March, the Sportsman's Guide mentioned holiday ornaments in an email in May, and Norm Thompson promoted ornaments and other holiday items in an email last month as well as in this email. And while many folks decry promoting Christmas goods so far in advance, the fact that Norm Thompson sold out of the products featured in this email are a sign that it's never too early for a good Christmas deal.
