The toy plane kids build in a free workshop at Lowe's is based on a popular family-friendly flick.

The project is a version of a monkey-powered plane featured in Madagascar 3.

The workshops are at 10 a.m. Saturday June 9 and 2 p.m. Sunday June 10 at participating Lowe's stores.
