I get mail, therefore I am.

So, what did I do this week? Shopping, shopping and more shopping. Honestly, I don't have anything better to do at the moment! Not that there would be anything wrong with shopping... :D

But yeah, like I said I've seriously got nothing to do (except waiting -- all my days are full of waiting, and everyone probably knows that when you are waiting for something and it just doesn't happen, it feels just like the time has stopped, and you get bored, oh so bored -- and frustrated)! I can't meet with my friends (most of them are busy with entrance exams, or they don't have time and/or money to come here -- they live in another city, which is why I can't go meet them either atm), my husband is at work almost every day (thank god his 3 weeks summer holiday starts June 11th, so I only have a few days left to spend alone at home now, yay :D And he has another (but shorter) summer holiday this August because he divided his holiday in two parts) and I can't call my mom (which is what I always do when I'm bored) because she's in Sweden with my dad until June 12th. :(

I can't chat with my brother either because he's in Canada now... so he wakes up when I go to sleep, and goes to sleep when I wake up. If I wanted to chat with him for more than 15 minutes a day I should screw up my sleeping pattern first. D: Uh, no thanks. He is probably moving to Canada this winter (?), so it looks like I need to learn waking up at 5am every morning if I want to talk with him. :'D

My sister isn't online either these days. :( I like to spend time with my family but when you live this far away, it's not really possible -- you can ''only'' call them or chat with them on MSN. I wish they visited here more often! Luckily now that we have a car we can drive there at least few times a year. :)

minus the 'end'.

Lots of blabbing about my family there, hah. So, what I wanted to say: my plans for this and next week are... clean up the house (but I can't do that all the time!) , write letters (eventually I'm going to run out with unreplied letters as well), die of boredom, go shopping, die of boredom, eat and sleep, die of boredom... and did I mention dying of boredom already? :')

Of course I'm also waiting, waiting and waiting for our baby to be born, but he is not showing any signs of wanting to see the world yet, even though last time the doc said it looks like he will probably be born this week. :( That's a bit mean because I was already eagerly waiting for that, and now I only got disappointed. D:

Tomorrow around midday I'm going to visit the maternity clinic, unless I need to go to hospital tonight (I want to already!). Two weeks left until my due date and if it goes one or two weeks past that, they are going to induce the labor, so... maximum of 3 to 4 weeks left and then I can finally hold our baby. ♥

But yeah, I said I went shopping so here are some pics of what I bought:

A new hallway lamp. I love our hallway wall! It looks like tapestry but it's actually painted.

Not the best picture, the lighting is awful too (reddish)... but here's 3 small mirrors I bought
and hang on the hallway wall yesterday. :)

These are some things I bought but we didn't put on their place yet (want to see them in packages? :D), so I have to offer you pics I ''stole'' online. :P

Cute owl painting we are going to put in our son's room, sized 50 x 70 cm.
A shelf for our son's clothes and toys. Clothes? Yes. :) I'm going to buy wooden
baskets like these here (some other color than black though, haha), and put his
clothes in those. The upper part of the shelf will be for storing toys, books etc., and
the lower part of it is for the baskets.

Other than these I also bought some missing stuff/stuff we don't have a lot for the baby, like diapers, a few pacifiers, some bottles, more baby socks and gloves and hats, etc. When I went to pay them, the cashier asked something I thought was funny: she asked me if I want them gift wrapped... :D Of course I want! One of my secret pleasures is to ask my shopping to be gift wrapped, then go home and pretend it's a Christmas/my birthday. :D

I know, I know -- that's a completely normal question, but I just think it was asked at a wrong time. If I saw a pregnant woman buying baby stuff, I maybe wouldn't ask about gift wrapping (especially if she had a huge, huge belly). :')

Oh, and I almost forgot that I ordered some snail mail supplies half a week ago (shame on me)! One letter set, one letter pad, three rolls of deco tape and three sheets of stickers. They were shipped three days ago but the shipping time was 9 to 14 work days so I'm not getting those for a loooong time. :( The package is probably going to arrive when I'm at the hospital.

Usually I don't buy letter sets, because I like to make/decorate the envelopes myself and because letter sets only allow you to write two pages long letters... Oh well, of course you can write even eight pages if you want to, but then you have a lot of ''leftover'' envelopes and that bothers me. :'D

This week I still didn't get any mail (boohoo), but here's two letters I received on Friday:

From Hannah (Germany) and Seul-Ki (South Korea)

And three letters I sent out on Monday:

To Sabrina (Finland).

To Hannah (Germany). She asked for a fast reply so I did my best
and answered her during the weekend. :)

To Anna (Japan). I thought one first class stamp is enough, but after
weighting the letter... no. :'D Whoops, blabbed way too much.
Now I think I'll go kill some time on mdl. If you're interested in Asian movies, dramas or animations, that's a really cool site so check it out. :D
