If you don't already know, I am a total planner and I love it ! I have almost finalised our plan for our quick trip to Orlando in September. We are heading off for 10 days, mainly to meet our wedding planner and other wedding vendors, plus a site visit and taste testing. But we are also going to have some fun, go on our favourite rides and try some new foods and restaurants!
So here is our plan for our trip! I cannot wait only 94 days to go!
Arrive 7 September at 6PM. We are staying at Pop Century Hotel.
Once we check in, we will jump on a bus and head straight to Down Town Disney and have a late dinner at Earl of Sandwich. We ate there last year and it was so good! Its kinda like subway but 1000% better!
Then we will probably be exhausted and head back to the hotel to rest our little heads after a BIG day of travelling!
Day 2, 8 September. We will spend a full day at Magic Kingdom no dinning reservations booked yet but maybe we will book something for dinner!
Day 3, 9 September. We have a breakfast reservation at Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Resort. Kona Cafe is famous for its Tonga Toast, which is banana stuffed sourdough bread, rolled in cinnamon sugar and served with Strawberry Compote.
I think we will be trying this!!
Then we will jump on a bus and head to Animal Kingdom for the day!

Day 4, 10 September. We have another breakfast reservation but this time at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Hotel. This one is a character breakfast so we get to meet Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto! I am hoping to eat more Mickey Waffles yum yum!
Then we are going to head to EPCOT for the most of the day. Its a pretty big park, so we hope to see a bit of the park before heading over to our wedding hotel, YAH ! Where we are meeting with our wedding coordinator and also the wedding coordinator at the restaurant where we are having our dinner reception. Then we have organised to have do a menu tasting with the head chef of Il Mulino (thats the restaurant name )
This is where we are having our ceremony, as long as it doesn't rain! So it will be good to meet with our wedding coordinator and actually see the whole area and get a good feel for the place.
And this is where we having our reception, the restaurant looks gorgeous, so will be great to see it, meet with the coordinator and head chef, try the food and then also see the private function rooms, where we will be.
After dinner at Il Mulino, we are going to be heading over to Disney Hollywood Studios to see Fantasmic! Which is a firework and water show shown nightly!
Really looking forward to seeing this!!
Day 5, 11 September. We haven't got much planned for the day, another lay around the pool. I expect that the weather is going to be really really hot and humid so I definitely think we will need some down time to enjoy the pool and relax in the air con! I just love being the Disney Bubble.
Tonight we are heading back to Magic Kingdom because we are going to attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!
We attended the Christmas Party in December and had such a great time! They encourage everyone to dress up, so it would be fun to do that, get into the Halloween spirit!
Day 6, 12 September. We are off nice and bright and early to pick up a hire car, or we might do it the morning before, and we are heading off first up to go shopping at the Outlet Centres. I was thinking of going wedding dress shopping, but I think its going to be hard, as they will have to have my size in stock or they would have to order it in for me then ship it to me, plus I would be on my own so I think I would want my mum, sisters and friends to be with me. But there is 2 outlet centres not far from DisneyWorld so that will be fun!
On the way home, we are stopping in our Wedding Cake Vendor to do a taste testing, YUMMY!!! Cannot wait to try all the different flavours. So between now and then I have to get together my colours and print out some pictures to take with us!
I think we might have funfetti as our flavour! Looks yummy!!
Then after we return the car, we have a dinner reservation at Kouzzina by Cat Cora. Its a greek restaurant and we love greek food!
The restaurant is located along Disney's Boardwalk! Looks pretty nice, it is full of restaurants, bars and shops. Cant wait to explore this area, as the hotel we are getting married at is not far away, and our photographer has suggested after the ceremony we walk over and get some photos taken over here! yah :)
Day 7, 13 September. It's D birthday! Lucky duck getting to spend it at Disney, the happiest place on earth!
We don't have much planned for the morning, we might just have a good sleep in! We have lunch reservations at Restaurant Marrekesh at EPCOT worldshow case. I have read good reviews so hopefully its yummy!
Looks very nice! We are also going to get some wedding photos taken around EPCOT worldshow case, so after lunch we plan to really explore the worldshow case, this is something we missed out on last visit. I want to find the best spots so we can let the photographer know what countries we want to get our pictures taken in! I know we definitely want Morocco!
We will spend the night here, and enjoy the fireworks! Another great thing about DisneyWorld, 2 of the parks have fireworks on every night!
Day 8, 14 September. Nothing planned for the morning, but at lunchtime I am getting a hair and makeup trial done! Yah! So need to do so more research and bring lots of pictures for them!
Later in the afternoon, we are meeting with our photographer to take some engagement photos! I cannot wait to meet him, the photos we have seen have been amazing! We are getting our photos taken around our hotel. It's a pretty funky hotel, so we hope we get some great shots!

Nothing much planned for the night, might look into a nice dinner seem as how I'll have my hair and makeup all nicely done!!
Day 9, 15 September. We are spending the day at Disney's Hollywood Studios! My favourite ride is here, its called Toy Story Mania! Its so much fun. You sit in little cars and spin around the room with 3D glasses on, playing carnival games.
It's so much fun!!
Then for lunch we have reservations at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre! Look how cool it is, you sit in old cars and thats how they serve you, your food!
Pretty cool! I can't wait to go.
We don't have any plans for that night, our last night :( We will try and get an early night as our plane leaves at 8am so thats a fairy early wake up call !
Whenever I have bad days at work, I just gotta keep thinking holidays are not too far away, and soon I will be in my happy place!
